Tiny metal ring with 200kgf force sustain

Hello, this is a small metal part that isn’t overly complex to produce, but it has high safety requirements. The order volume isn’t large,   just a few thousand pieces. Could you please check if you’re willing to take this order?

When we received this email from the European client, we replied immediately, expressing our willingness to support their needs. In our philosophy, no matter how small the order volume, we always value the opportunity to demonstrate our professional capabilities.

Shortly afterward, another email arrived from the client, attaching a simple sketch with basic dimensions. It showed a metal ring, and they requested us to complete the mechanical design based on its intended application.

We started with a detailed force analysis. Considering the potential load - bearing demands in its actual use scenario, we selected a 4mm diameter stainless steel metal wire to ensure sufficient structural strength. For connecting the open ends of the wire, we chose welding and followed it with manual polishing to thoroughly remove any welding residues, preventing potential safety hazards from rough edges.

Safety was our top priority throughout the process. We implemented a 200kgf pulling test on sample rings to verify that they wouldn’t crack or deform under extreme working conditions. Each test was recorded in detail to ensure compliance with strict safety standards.

After finalizing the design and passing all tests, we proceeded with production. In the end, we delivered 1000 pieces as agreed. Soon after the client received the goods, we received an email, in which they praised the quality of the metal rings and our professional attitude in handling the small order. This successful cooperation laid a good foundation for potential future collaborations.
